Terms of service
1. Service and agreement
Words Box Innovations (HK) ("we", "us" or "our") operates DolphinScribe. These terms govern access to our audio and video transcription, speaker identification, export and related services. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Available features, eligibility and usage limits are described in the service and may change.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Some features require an account. You must provide accurate account information, maintain the security of your credentials and notify us at contact@dolphinscribe.cc if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account, subject to applicable law. If you act for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it. If you are a minor, use the service only with any consent required by applicable law.
3. Your content
You retain any rights you hold in content you upload and results generated from it. You grant us the permission needed to host, transmit, process and display your content to operate the service and as described in the privacy policy. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and process the content, including any required consent from recorded participants. Do not submit content you are not authorized to use.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to violate law, infringe another person’s rights, distribute malicious code, interfere with the service, evade access or usage restrictions, or access another account without authorization. Do not attempt to overload or disrupt the systems that support the service.
5. Automated results
Transcripts, timestamps, speaker labels and other automated results may be incomplete, inaccurate or unavailable. Review results against the source before relying on, publishing or sharing them. You are responsible for deciding whether an output is suitable for your purpose.
6. Our intellectual property
The service, its software, branding and other materials we provide are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited right to access and use the service in accordance with these terms. Except as permitted by law or expressly authorized, you may not copy, redistribute or create derivative works from our software or branding.
7. Plans, billing and refunds
Available plans, allowances and usage limits are shown in the service. Where paid plans are offered, the price, billing interval, renewal and cancellation terms will be presented before purchase. You can manage available subscriptions through your account or contact us. Refund, cancellation and withdrawal rights apply as stated at purchase and required by applicable consumer law.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, legal requirements or material breaches. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. You may contact us about account closure; payment and data rights remain subject to applicable law and the privacy policy.
9. Service availability and liability
The service may be interrupted, changed or unavailable, and automated processing is not guaranteed to be error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service, our practices or legal requirements change. We will make the updated terms available and provide notice where required by law. Continued use after an update takes effect is subject to applicable law and any required consent.
11. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are subject to applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence where they apply. If a concern arises, contact us first so we can try to resolve it. Nothing here limits your right to seek relief from a competent court, regulator or other authority.
